One fact most people know about is that you should eat things on the food pyramid. There are also different things you should eat from different sections. For example, you should eat whole grain food because they are healthier than regular bread and crackers. For vegetables, the colors are important. Limit your fruit juices and eat regular fruit.Limit solid fats like butter. Get low-fat or fat-free milk.Vary your meat choices with poultry, fish, and even beans (even though that isn't a meat).

I was looking at a bag of UTZ potato chips and thought it wasn't bad because it didn't have any "strange" ingredients. I was wrong. One of the ingredients was cottonseed oil, which can be used as a pesticide! Cottonseed oil comes from cotton plants, which are sprayed with chemicals and they also have to get rid of a toxin in the plant used to kill insects. Cottonseed oil was also originally intended to make candles. That oil is not very healthy! That is also proven by many web sites, not just one. They all say that Cottonseed oil can be used as a pesticide and it is one of the most unhealthy oils that exist. Manufacturers use Cottonseed oil because it is cheap, and they want to make money.
